Coconut Macaroon Nutella Nests

The easiest Easter treat (and kid friendly too!)


  • 2/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 large egg white
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt 
  • 3 1/2 cups sweetened flaked coconut
  • 1 cup Nutella
  • A bag of Cadbury mini eggs (or any Easter egg candy) 



  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper (or Silpat)
  • In a large bowl, mix together the condensed milk, egg white, vanilla, and salt until well combined
  • Add the coconut until well combined 
  • Form small balls and press into "nests" on the baking sheet. Press your thumb into the middle of the nest 
  • Bake 17-20 minutes or until slightly golden brown
  • Remove from the oven and press your thumb (or a small spoon) again into the center of the "nest"
  • Let the macaroons completely cool 
  • Add the nutella into the middle of the "nest" and place the eggs right on top
